Wednesday 5th August at 2 pm, C.H.A.T. (Craft, Hobbies, Art, Tea) at All Saints Church Hall, the first Wednesday of the month. A great way to meet people. Why not give it a go?
Tuesday 11th August. 8pm. Moth Night. Friends of Childwall Woods and Fields. A rare treat to spend the evening with 2 of the ‘Friends’ ecologists, identifying moths that are attracted to their light station. Sign up on Eventbrite soon,
Wednesday 12th August 6pm – 7pm. Cuppa with a Copper. You are invited to meet and chat with Levi, our PCSO and the SCRA team over a cup of tea and a biscuit in All Saints Church Hall, Childwall Abbey Road.
The Savoy Jazzmen at the Palm House, Sefton Park. The Jazzmen won’t be playing at the Palm House on the first Tuesday in August but will be back in September on Tuesday 1st September as usual, 2-4pm.
Admission is free, and refreshments are available, but don’t be late; it’s a popular, fun event.
Sunday 9th August, 2 pm: Rubbish Friends litter-picking group will be meeting at the Childwall Triangle and the Fiveways. If you would like to get involved, it’s the second Sunday of every month. You can contact Bren at scrachair2@gmail.com for more information or to join us.
Sunday 9th August, 2-4 pm: The Savoy Jazzmen, at the Childwall Abbey. There is no admission charge. Just a great afternoon to be had. To book a table, call 0151 722 5293.

Wednesday 26th August, Singalong at the All Saints Church Hall. The 4th Wednesday of every month. It’s free and a great opportunity to join friends and sing along to music from the 50s and 60s. 2 – 3.30 pm for tea/coffee and biscuits, just a small donation of £1.
