The Christmas Season began on Friday, 28th November 2025, at All Saints Church with our annual Christmas Tree Lighting!
Organised by Childwall All Together (Liverpool Hope University, All Saints Church, the South Childwall Residents Association, Childwall in Bloom, Childwall Abbey School, and the Friends of Childwall Woods and Fields), the church welcomed hundreds of people to their church hall to eat some lovely food and sing Christmas carols! This event would not be possible without the generosity of the Liverpool City Council and our aforementioned groups.
As a community, we raised £375.74 for our chosen charity, the Whitechapel Centre, a homeless and housing charity serving the Liverpool region. These donations are imperative for their crucial work in our city.
Additionally, Childwall Abbey School raised an incredible £410 to support their students’ trips and the development of transferable, fun skills!
