The Christmas Season began on Friday, 28th November 2025, at All Saints Church with our annual Christmas Tree Lighting!
Organised by Childwall All Together (Liverpool Hope University, All Saints Church, the South Childwall Residents Association, Childwall in Bloom, Childwall Abbey School, and the Friends of Childwall Woods and Fields), the church welcomed hundreds of people to their church hall to eat some lovely food and sing Christmas carols! This event could only be made possible by the generosity of the Liverpool City Council and our own aforementioned groups.
As a community, we were able to raise £375.74 for our chosen charity, the Whitechapel Centre, a homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. These donations are imperative for their crucial work in our city.
Additionally, Childwall Abbey School was able to raise an incredible £410 to support their students to go on trips and learn transferable and fun skills!
