Heritage Open Days from 12th to 21st September. Visit the Heritage Open Days website for tours and open buildings around Liverpool
Tuesday 2nd Sept 2-4 pm, The Savoy Jazmen at the Palm House, Sefton Park. Admission is free and refreshments are available, but dont be late, it’s a popular, fun event.
Wednesday 3rd September, at 2pm, C.H.A.T. (Craft, Hobbies, Art, Tea) at All Saints Church hall, the first Wednesday of the month. A new group, just coming together. Why not give it a go?
Friday 5th September, The Charity Crafters ( Previously known as the Project Linus Craft Group.) 3pm at Childwall Abbey Hotel. This group is currently unable to accept new members, but if you are interested in joining, please email L16scra@gmail.com and we will add you to our waiting list.

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September HERITAGE WEEKEND at All Saints Church. A wonderful opportunity to go up the tower past the bell chamber and see the views across Lancashire. The Abbey Artists will have their work on display again and there will be a display of Weddings and Christenings down the years. Dont miss this opportunity to look inside the oldest church in Liverpool.
Sunday 14th September, 2pm Rubbish Friends litter picking group, will be meeting at the Childwall Triangle and the Fiveways Roundabout by the shops If you would like to get involved, it’s the second Sunday of every month. You can contact Bren at scrachair2@gmail.com to make sure it’s on, or to use one of our litter pickers. Sorry, this is now cancelled due to heavy rain.

Maintenance and Conservation Event. 21st September. 1pm at Countisbury Drive entrance. Friends of Childwall Woods and Fields. Our local nature reserve needs our help to keep it maintained and to ensure its important ecosystems are conserved. Invasive species will take over the site unless removed. Join the Friends in this essential activity and make new friends.
The rain will stop and you are invited to stay for a cuppa, cake and a chat afterwards. Everyone welcome.
Wednesday 24th September, Singalong at the All Saints Church Hall. The 4th Wednesday of every month, it’s free and a great opportunity to join friends and sing along to music of the 50s and 60s. Time to follow.
